Neighbourhood Bunnies

I made this card to participate in Meljens Design challenge this week. The challenge this week was to use DOTS!!! Well I love dots, so this wasn't a problem for me! The image is one from Meljens Designs found on Whimsy Stamps and the sentiment is from Fred She Said. The reason that I chose this image is because we have to little wild rabbits that hang out in our yard daily. They are a boy and a girl and I have tried to colour them as close as I could to their real colours. The kids get a real big kick watching them munch on the grass out our front window........they have even named them "Yoco" and "Marshmellow".

The background paper is from Pink Petticoat . I have been using a lot of these papers lately because they come in soooooo many colours, they are offered in simple desings and come in a positive and a negative!

2 Challenges in 1

I was able to put two challenges into one card today!!!! I first came across this cute little FREE image over on Meljen's Designs blog ( http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/ ) . The challenge was their Thursday challenge "U R Such an ANIMAL". I colored this image a few days ago and never got around to making up the card. Then I looked up th 'Sweet n' Sassy Sketch Challenge' and thought this image would be perfect! The background paper is a digital download that I found on a site called 'Pink Petticoat'.

My son was home from school today, but was well enough to make his own take on this sketch.....I did tie the bow for him, he is only six!!!

Sweet n' Sassy sketch SSS97

Wow.......the second sketch challenge in one week!!!!!
This is a card that I made for the Sweet n' Sassy sketch challenge. I used the digital image 'Everyday Miracles' from Sweet n' Sassy, coloured with SU marker 'Orchid Opulence' and then covered with Stickles. The background daisy papers were a digital download from 'Pink Petticoat Papers' and oh my gosh.......love them. The paper download was about 50 different colours of this same pattern........I have used the positive and the negative paper on this card, looking forward to using them again!!!!
Other items used on the card were various Marvy punches and a Martha Stewart edger punch.
